SERVICES

WARNING
  • Take an extra pair of shoes due to marshy lands.
  • Stay on the trail.

DESCRIPTION

The trail starts on the left hand side, some 500 mts. after the Mascardi park entrance on the way to Pampa Linda. Leave the car at the park entrance and walk from there as there is no parking available close to the trailhead.

The start of the trail is pretty steep and quite a lot of elevation gain. Then it levels out all the way to the lagoon. At the beginning of the season the marsh lands are very wet so have an extra pair of shoes and look for stepping stones and branches to walk along.

There isn’t a trail that goes completely around the lagoon, you can walk along one shore, then to the next going past the entrance spot.

Follow the same trail back down to the road.

To improve the trekking experience, it is recommended to contact a Mountain Guide authorized by the AAGM (Argentine Association of Mountain Guides)
